The Clinton-Macomb Public Library (CMPL) is a district library serving a rapidly growing population over 150,000. 

Formed in 1992, CMPL directly serves all of the residents of Macomb Township and most of Clinton Township, with the exception of the portion in the Mount Clemens School District, which is served by the Mount Clemens Public Library. 

CMPL is a member of the Suburban Library Cooperative, encompassing 20 libraries in the cities and townships north of Metro Detroit.

Main Library Highlights
The Clinton-Macomb Public Library is proud of its Main Library located at 40900 Romeo Plank Road where Romeo Plank intersects with Canal. The Main Library had its grand opening on October 26, 2003 with over 3,000 visitors!

North Branch Highlights
Clinton-Macomb Public Library opened its North Branch in July 2001. Particularly notable for its striking modernistic architecture with neon lighting, this unique neighborhood branch provides numerous quality programs for children and adults and the latest books, DVDs, CDs, and more.

South Branch Highlights
The South Branch proudly opened its doors in August 2000 as the first permanent branch of Clinton-Macomb Public Library.  The library offers nearby residents and visitors a wealth of resources and personalized service.
