Featured Program ImageIt's Used Book Sale time again! Visit the Main Library to get a great deal on used books. The sale begins with Friends Night on Wed., Oct. 14 from 5:30-8:30pm. You can purchase a Friends' membership at the door for $15. The sale opens to the public on Thurs., Oct. 15 from 12-8pm. Hours on Oct. 16 and 17 are 9:30am-5pm. Sun., Oct. 18 is Bag Day where you can get a bag of books for just $15 from 1:15-3:15pm. If there are books left, swing by on Mon., Oct. 19 from 9:30am-12pm for Free Book Day.

PAWS for Reading Header

PAWS for Reading is a program that has caught on in schools and libraries nation-wide to help youngsters become successful readers. Specially-trained therapy dogs help improve the literacy skills of children by providing a fun atmosphere where kids can be confident reading aloud and interacting with the animals.

Look for the PAWS for Reading program on our calendar of events at all three CMPL locations.  No registration is required.  Children of all ages are welcome!
