Featured Program ImageAre the kids ready for Halloween? Get the Halloween spirit with activities at all three CMPL locations! The South Branch will host a Halloween Party for ages 12 and under on Wed., Oct. 22 at 6:30pm. Call 586-226-5073 to register. The Main Library will host trick-or-treating for ages 2-5 on Tues., Oct. 28 at 10:30am. Call 586-226-5030 to register. The North Branch will host a Halloween Party for ages 2-6 on Thurs., Oct. 30 at 10:30am. Call 586-226-5083 to register. You can also register up to two weeks in advance using the events calendar for the appropriate location.

















PAWS for Reading Header



PAWS for Reading is a program that has caught on in schools and libraries nation-wide to help youngsters become successful readers. Specially-trained therapy dogs help improve the literacy skills of children by providing a fun atmosphere where kids can be confident reading aloud and interacting with the animals.

Look for the PAWS for Reading program on our calendar of events at all three CMPL locations.  No registration is required.  Children of all ages are welcome!
