Donald W. Green Local History Room

The Clinton-Macomb Public Library welcomes customers and lovers of local history to enjoy our growing local history collection at the Main Library. Librarians are interested in archiving physical objects such as maps, yearbooks, and out-of-print books to develop an online archive of historical images and documents. Are you doing research? Technology We Offer

  • Wireless Internet and Wireless Printing
  • We offer free wireless internet access and printing. You must provide your own computer with a wireless card.
  • Non-resident Internet Use
  • Persons not eligible to receive a library card can purchase a daily-internet card at the circulation desk (which requires a fee of $1.95/day or $50 a year).
  • Printing, Copies and Fax Service
  • We offer black & white copies for 10¢ per page and color copies for 50¢ per page. Self-service faxing (out-going only) is also available. The cost of the fax is 50¢ per page. Files can be sent to any fax machine in the United States and Canada, and a confirmation receipt is provided.
  • Computers
  • Our computers run the Windows operating system and are equipped with Microsoft Office. The Main Library and South Branch computer labs have scanners available. We have both basic and advanced image, audio, and video editing, and web development software.
  • CD and DVD Disc Repair
  • Give your scratched, skipping, won’t play DVDs, CDs and videogames a second chance by taking them to the Circulation Desk at the Main Library for evaluation. Using a commercial-grade repair unit, we may be able to buff your discs. Repair cost is $3 per DVD or CD and $5 per videogame. Drop off your discs and have them repaired within a week!
