The Clinton-Macomb Public Library’s Library by Mail service allows patrons who reside in the CMPL service area but are unable to visit the library in person, to receive library materials by mail. Customers may receive fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, movies and music CDs.
The Library by Mail service is available to all those who live or own property in Clinton or Macomb Townships (not residing in the Mount Clemens School District.) If you do not already have a library card, one will be issued to you as part of the sign-up process.
Fill out the application below, pick up a paper application at any branch, or call (586) 226-5069 to fill out an application over the phone with a librarian.
Materials are delivered in a bag to your residence via the US Postal service. No fines are charged for overdue materials, but customers are responsible for lost items. This is a personalized service where you can choose the specific items you want to receive each month, or let our librarians choose for you based on your preferences. Each shipment you receive includes pre-paid return postage and a return label. Simply put your library materials back into the bag and mail it back to us.
Yes! Library by Mail services can be permanent or temporary, based on your current situation and needs.
