All ages are invited to participate in Summer Reading! You only need to read 45 days this summer to complete the program.
Summer Reading
• Read whatever you want!
• We recommend reading at least 15 minutes per day.
• Read at your own pace. You may log every day or only when you have reached 15, 30, and 45 day increments.
• Each time you finish reading for 15 days, you earn a prize. You do not have to read for consecutive days. All children’s and teen prizes must be collected by August 13.
Track Your Reading Online
Register for a Beanstack account, or use your account from last summer to participate. You will need your library card to register. Once you have an account, look for the Log Reading button in the upper left corner of the screen. Click it to log your days. You do not have to log every day. You can select multiple dates on the calendar to log but you cannot log beyond today’s date.
Logging on the go? Download the Beanstack app. It is available through both the App store and Google Play and is called Beanstack Tracker. Get instructions here.
All logging must be entered by August 13.
Track Activities
This summer we have 14 activities to complete. For each activity you complete, you’ll earn a badge. Earn seven badges and you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a $75 gift card. All ages may participate in the Activity Track. Winners will be contacted in August after Summer Reading concludes.
Log Your Reading
Now that you know all about all about Summer Reading, get started! Create your Beanstack account for register for this year’s reading challenge. We also have a paper chart if you would like to keep track of your reading on a paper calendar before you log it online.
