All ages are invited to participate in Summer Reading 2019! You only need to read 45 days this summer to complete the program.
• Read whatever you want!
• Put an X on the days you’ve read. We recommend reading at least 15 minutes per day.
• Read at your own pace. You may log every day or only when you have reached 15, 30, and 45 day increments.
• Each time you finish reading for 15 days, come in to get a prize. You do not have to read for consecutive days. All children’s and teen prizes must be collected by August 17.
Track Your Reading Online
Register for a Beanstack account, or use your account from last summer to participate. You will need your library card to register. Once you have an account, look for the Log Reading button in the upper left corner of the screen. Click it to log your days. You do not have to log every day. You can select multiple dates on the calendar to log but you cannot log beyond today’s date. All logging must be entered by August 17.
This summer we’ll have 3 activity tracks. Throughout the summer we’re going to place secret codes around the library, at outreach events, programs and online. When you log your reading online, you can also log activities. Enter the secret codes you see. You must enter 4 codes for each activity badge to earn the badge. For each badge you earn, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a $25 Target gift card. All ages may participate in the Secret Codes contest. Winners will be contacted in August after Summer Reading concludes.
