The Friends of CMPL is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to improving library services through underwriting programs and special projects. They hold several fundraisers including seasonal book sales, library tote bag sales and they are in charge of running the Used Book Nook.
The Friends group is led by president, Mary Russo and meets the second Tuesday of most months at 7 pm at the Main Library (meetings are not mandatory).

Can’t wait for the sale? The North and South Branches have Friends of the Library kiosks to purchase used books. The Main Library offers the Used Book Nook. More information about the Used Book Nook, including hours, can be found here.
Gift Giving
The Friends of the Library have been very generous in awarding gifts to the Clinton-Macomb Public Library. Their total monetary pledge to the library in 2018 was $93,130!

Used Book Sales (throughout the year)
The Friends of the Clinton-Macomb Public Library host two large-scale book sales each year at the Main Library but did you also know that you can get used books in between sales? The Friends supply the Used Book Nook at the Main Library with copies of the best of the donations. You can get a great deal on used books and book bundles at the Used Book Nook.
Volunteer Opportunities
